Academic Advisor and Learning Consultant

Role Summary

Study Global by APIIT is looking for a passionate and experienced Education Consultant. This role requires a dynamic individual to combine student counselling, sales, and business development skills to help students achieve their overseas education goals. The successful candidate will be responsible for converting enquiries into enrolments while providing end-to-end guidance throughout the admissions and visa process.

Requirements/Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in the international education consultancy or study abroad industry.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Education, Management, or a related field (preferred).
• Proven experience in student counselling, student recruitment/sales, and international university application processing.
• Sound knowledge of university admissions procedures and student visa processes.
• Strong sales, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organisational skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and CRM systems (added advantage).

Key Responsibilities

• Counsel prospective students and parents on study abroad opportunities.
• Assess students' academic qualifications, career aspirations, and financial circumstances to recommend study pathways.
• Convert student enquiries into successful enrolments.
• Manage the complete university application process.
• Guide students through visa application requirements, documentation, and pre-departure procedures.
• Liaise with international universities and partner institutions.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of admission criteria, visa regulations, scholarships, and education policies.
• Participate in education fairs, school visits, webinars, open days, and other recruitment events.
• Follow up with prospective students to maximise conversions and achieve recruitment targets.
• Maintain accurate student records and application progress using CRM systems.
• Deliver exceptional customer service while ensuring compliance with company policies and data confidentiality.
