Key Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate accounting records and financial documentation.
• Prepare journal entries, payment vouchers, receipts and other accounting records.
• Perform bank reconciliations and maintain cash books.
• Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts and financial statements.
• Monitor accounts receivable and accounts payable.
• Prepare statutory payments and support tax compliance activities.
• Assist with budgeting, inventory control and financial reporting.
• Liaise with auditors, banks, suppliers and other stakeholders as required.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
• Perform any other finance and accounting duties assigned by management.

Requirements

• Passed G.C.E. Advanced Level (Commerce Stream preferred).
• Part qualification or full qualification in AAT, CA Sri Lanka, CIMA, CMA or an equivalent professional accounting qualification.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in an accounting or finance-related role.
• Experience in manufacturing or FMCG accounting will be an advantage.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office (especially Excel).
• Strong analytical, communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimum supervision.
• High level of integrity, accuracy and attention to detail.
