ACCOUNTANT – NEW PROJECTS

QUALIFICATIONS

• A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration/Project Management, or a related field from a recognized university
• A professionally recognized accounting qualification such as CA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent
• 3-5 years of relevant experience, preferably in project-based operations
• Strong knowledge of financial accounting, management accounting, budgeting, financial analysis, internal controls, MS Excel, and ERP/accounting systems and financial reporting

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Establish and maintain accounting procedures and financial controls for the new project
• Develop and monitor project budgets, forecasts, cash-flow projections, and expenditure plans
• Maintain accurate and timely accounting records for all project-related transactions
• Provide financial guidance and insights to project teams throughout the project lifecycle
• Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end financial closing activities relating to new projects
