Assistant Accountant

Role Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Assistant Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will support financial operations, assist in reporting, and ensure smooth day-to-day administrative and accounting activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in maintaining financial records, bookkeeping, and reconciliations.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Support budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Handle accounts payable/receivable and payroll processing.
• Coordinate with internal teams and external auditors.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.

Requirements/Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Completion of Corporate level at CA- Sri Lanka or an equivalent qualification from a recognized institute such as CIMA or ACCA.
• 2–5 years of experience in accounting or finance roles.
• Hand on Experience in SAP-Hana will be an added advantage.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Knowledge of tax regulations and compliance is a plus.
