Role Summary

A well-established and reputed trading company is seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Assistant Accountant to join their Finance Team.

Requirements

• Partly qualified in CA Sri Lanka or AAT
• Hands-on experience with QuickBooks (Mandatory)
• Minimum 2 years' accounting experience
• Good knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting
• Proficiency in MS Excel and MS Office
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain accounting records and general ledger
• Prepare bank, supplier and customer reconciliations
• Process payments, receipts and journal entries
• Assist in monthly financial statements and management reports
• Coordinate with auditors and perform finance-related duties
