About Us
Arpitalian Compact Soles (Pvt) Ltd., established in 1994 and located in the Biyagama Export Processing Zone, manufactures high quality Arpilite resin rubber soles and heels for the global footwear market.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain the general ledger and ensure accurate recording of financial transactions.
- Prepare and process journal entries, invoices, payments and receipts.
- Perform monthly bank, supplier and customer reconciliations.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements.
- Prepare and submit statutory tax returns, including VAT, SSCL and other applicable taxes, within stipulated deadlines.
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations and maintain proper documentation for tax audits.
- Liaise with external auditors, tax consultants and government authorities when required.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Part qualification in a professional accounting body (CA Sri Lanka, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) is an added advantage.
- 2 – 3 years of experience in accounting or finance.
- Experience in handling statutory tax compliance is preferred.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage, Tally, SAP, or ERP systems) and Microsoft Excel.
