1. Accountant

Key Responsibilities

Maintain the complete accounting system of the company.
Prepare monthly management accounts and financial statements.
Handle VAT, Income Tax, SSCL, PAYE/APIT and other statutory requirements.
Process payroll, EPF & ETF.
Perform bank reconciliations and cash flow management.
Coordinate with auditors and regulatory authorities.
Monitor debtors, creditors and inventory.
Prepare budgets and financial reports for management.

Requirements

Degree in Accounting/Finance or Partly/Fully Qualified CA, ACCA, CIMA or AAT.
Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar position.
Sound knowledge of accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
Good understanding of Sri Lankan taxation and statutory requirements.
Strong leadership, communication and analytical skills.

2. Accounts Assistant

Key Responsibilities

Prepare vouchers and maintain accounting records.
Assist with invoicing, receipts and payments.
Handle accounts receivable and payable.
Perform bank reconciliations.
Maintain stock and financial records.
Assist in payroll and statutory payments.
Support the Accountant in daily finance operations.

Requirements

AAT qualification or partly qualified CA/CIMA/ACCA.
1-2 years' experience will be an advantage.
Computer literacy with MS Office and accounting software.
Good communication skills and attention to detail.
School leavers with AAT qualifications are also encouraged to apply.
