Accountant

Join a growing company providing full-service accounting services remotely to Australian businesses. We’re looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Accountant with Australian accounting experience to join our team and support our clients with accurate and reliable financial solutions.

About the Role

As an Accountant, you will manage day-to-day accounting operations and ensure compliance with Australian accounting standards. You will play a key role in delivering quality services and supporting our clients’ business success.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting and bookkeeping tasks for clients
• Prepare BAS, IAS and other compliance reports
• Process payroll, superannuation and STP
• Reconcile accounts and prepare financial reports
• Ensure compliance with Australian accounting standards and ATO requirements
• Liaise with clients and provide timely and accurate support

Requirements/Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of hands-on accounting experience
• Australian accounting experience is mandatory
• Experience with Australian bookkeeping, payroll, superannuation, STP and BAS
• Experience using Xero
• Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field
• Partly or fully qualified in CA, CIMA, CMA or ACCA
• Good written and verbal communication skills
