Accountant - LPK International (Pvt) Ltd

Role Summary

We are looking for a highly experienced, trustworthy, and results-oriented Accountant to oversee the company's financial operations, ensure statutory compliance, and provide accurate financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Financial Management: Manage the company's accounting functions, maintain financial records, and ensure the accuracy of all financial transactions.
• Taxation & Compliance: Ensure compliance with Sri Lankan tax regulations, statutory requirements, VAT, EPF/ETF, and other regulatory obligations.
• Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, management reports, budgets, and cash flow forecasts.
• Audit Coordination: Coordinate internal and external audits while maintaining proper documentation and liaising with auditors and government authorities.
• Budgeting & Cost Control: Monitor financial performance, analyse variances, and recommend cost-control measures to improve profitability.

Requirements

• Age above 40 years.
• Minimum 10 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Fully qualified Chartered Accountant (ICASL) or an equivalent professional qualification.
• Strong knowledge of Sri Lankan tax laws, financial reporting standards, and statutory compliance.
• Proven experience in auditing, budgeting, and financial management.
• High level of integrity, confidentiality, and attention to detail.
• Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
