Role Summary

Uga Chena Huts – Yala is seeking an Accountant to lead the daily financial operations of the resort. The ideal candidate is a hands-on finance professional who ensures accurate numbers and seamless daily accounting, supporting rigorous financial planning, compliance, and strategic asset management.

Requirements/Qualifications

• Proven Track Record: Minimum of 7-10 years of progressive experience in finance and accounting, ideally within the luxury hospitality or premium resort sector.
• Deep Operational Knowledge: Hands-on expertise in core finance areas including complex budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, compliance, internal controls, and audit readiness.
• Strategic Business Acumen: Strong commercial mindset with the ability to act as a team player to balance profitability with guest experience.
• Empathetic & Visionary Leadership: Extraordinary interpersonal and communication skills with an empathetic leadership style.
• Professional Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. Part qualification in professional membership (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CPA, or equivalent) is an added advantage.
