We are looking for talented, motivated and results-driven professionals to join our Finance & Accounts team at our Mount Lavinia office.

Accountant

Role Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Accountant to manage the accounting team, ensure financial accuracy, and support business growth through strategic financial planning.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the accounting team to achieve departmental objectives.
• Prepare, analyze, and present monthly financial statements.
• Collaborate with audit teams, financial institutions, and key stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance by preparing and submitting tax returns and addressing tax-related matters.
• Generate ad-hoc financial reports to support management decisions.
• Support the finance team in various financial tasks.
• Identify and implement business process improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Accounting or Full qualifications in CA / CMA / Member of AAT.
• 2-3 years of experience as an Accountant (preferably in Food manufacturing/FMCG).
• Expertise in managing food production costs, inventory, and operational efficiency.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Proficiency in financial reporting tools.
• Analytical mindset with a focus on cost optimization and profitability.

Accounts Executive

Role Summary: We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Executive to support the finance team in day-to-day accounting operations and ensure accurate financial records and timely reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Process day-to-day financial transactions (purchases, sales, receipts, payments).
• Maintain accurate general ledger and subsidiary records.
• Assist in preparing monthly management reports and financial statements.
• Reconcile bank accounts, supplier statements and other accounts.
• Ensure proper filing and maintenance of accounting documents.
• Assist in inventory accounting and stock reconciliations.
• Support in budgeting and forecasting activities.
• Perform ad-hoc tasks as required.

Qualifications

• Part qualification in CA / CIMA / ACCA / AAT or Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting / Finance.
• 1-2 years of experience in a similar role.
• Good knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
