We are looking for a dynamic and field-oriented Agriculture professional to join our team as a Smart Agriculture Project Coordinator for an IoT-based smart agriculture project. The successful candidate will act as the key coordination point between the customer, our ERP team and the IoT Team, ensuring the successful implementation, adoption and ongoing operation of the smart agriculture solution at customer locations.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate the implementation and day-to-day activities between the customer, our ERP team and the IoT team.
• Visit customer farms and agricultural sites regularly to understand requirements and project progress.
• Work closely with agricultural teams, estate/farm managers and other customer representatives.
• Coordinate the installation, deployment and commissioning of IoT devices and related systems.
• Assist in identifying and resolving field-level issues related to sensors, connection, installation and system usage.
• Gather customer requirements, field observations and feedback, and communicate them to the relevant teams.
• Support customer training, system adoption and ongoing operations.
• Prepare regular project updates, field visit reports and follow up on pending issues until resolution.
• Maintain good working relationships with customers and project stakeholders.

Required Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Agriculture, Agricultural Science, Agronomy, Plantation Management or a related field.
• Previous experience in agriculture, plantations, farm operations or agricultural projects will be an advantage.
• Good understanding of agricultural practices and field operations.
• Good IT literacy and a strong interest in technology.
• Ability to work with technology-based systems, dashboards and digital applications.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in English and Sinhala (Tamil will be an advantage).
• Ability to work independently and take responsibility for field activities.
• Willingness to travel extensively across Sri Lanka.
• Valid driving licence will be an advantage.

Additional Advantage

• Knowledge of IoT, smart agriculture, precision agriculture, GIS/GPS, farm management systems or ERP systems would be an added advantage.

Location

This is primarily a field-based role and will require regular travel to farms and customer locations across Sri Lanka.
