Manager – Agri Workshop

Location: Hingurana - Ampara
The Role
- Lead and manage overall agricultural workshop operations, machinery repair, and maintenance functions in line with company objectives.
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules, SOPs, and safety protocols for all agricultural machinery and equipment.
- Oversee workshop staff, including technicians, mechanics, and support staff, ensuring high productivity and effective workforce planning.
- Promote workplace safety, workshop discipline, tool accountability, and environmental standards.
- Provide technical guidance to senior management on machinery upgrades, fleet expansion, and technology adoption.
The Profile
- A Bachelor's degree in Automotive Engineering / Mechanical Engineering or equivalent from a recognized university.
- Minimum of 10 years of progressive workshop experience, with at least 3 years in a managerial or supervisory capacity handling heavy machinery/agricultural equipment.
- Hands-on experience with tractors, harvesters, heavy vehicles, hydraulic systems, and agricultural implements used in large-scale farming/plantations.
- Extensive background in after-sales service and spare parts in the automotive industry.
- Sound knowledge of workshop management software, inventory tracking, and MS Office applications.
