Role Summary

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive testing on various Android devices, screen dimensions, and OS versions.
  • Develop and implement test cases for software updates, bug corrections, and new features.
  • Detect, document, and monitor software defects throughout the development cycle.
  • Execute diverse testing methodologies including integration, regression, and usability checks.
  • Collaborate with the Android development team to troubleshoot and validate bug fixes.
  • Utilize debugging tools to analyze application performance and crashes.
  • Manage essential QA documentation and release checklists.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • At least one year of professional experience in mobile application testing or Android development.
  • Deep familiarity with the Android ecosystem and application lifecycles.
  • Proficiency using emulators and physical hardware, alongside tools like ADB, Android Studio, and Logcat.
  • Capability to interpret Android logs and resolve technical issues.
  • Strong analytical mindset with an ability to identify edge cases.
  • Effective communication skills and the ability to work both autonomously and within a team.
  • Preferred: Knowledge of Kotlin, Java, automated testing, Postman, Git, or CI/CD workflows.
