Garment Technologist

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure a smooth and accurate style handover to the production plant.
• Work closely with development teams to ensure styles are developed in production-feasible methods.
• Collaborate with Technicians and Pattern Makers to establish and improve technical and quality standards.
• Support product re-engineering to achieve the most cost-effective solutions for customers.
• Communicate with internal departments to provide a complete and efficient service for both factory and customers.
• Conduct pre-production meetings to make sure production standards are followed.
• Prepare and provide complete technical packs to manufacturing facilities.
• Assist in improving production processes.
• Manage and maintain the critical path for sample approvals.

Requirements

• Textile degree or diploma.
• At least 3 years’ experience with sewing, pattern making, grading, and alterations.
• Must know marker making and the Gerber system.
• Experience in casual and nightwear is an added advantage.
• Good English and ability to understand customer needs and work under pressure.
