Assistant A/C & Cold Room Technician

Responsibilities

• Installation, servicing, maintenance and repair of split, cassette, package and other air-conditioning systems, cold rooms, freezers, condensers and refrigeration equipment.
• Carry out routine cleaning, inspection and basic maintenance of A/C, cool room and refrigeration equipment.
• Assist in carrying out preventive maintenance activities according to the maintenance schedule.
• Maintain proper housekeeping and maintenance record keeping.
• Follow all safety procedures and company requirements when carrying out maintenance and installation work.

Candidate Profile

• NVQ Level 3 in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning, HVAC or equivalent technical qualification or training.
• 1-2 years relevant experience in air-conditioning, refrigeration or cold-room maintenance will be an advantage.
• Basic practical knowledge of air-conditioning, refrigeration systems, compressors, electrical controls and refrigeration circuits.
• Willingness to learn and work under the guidance of experienced technicians.
• Ability to work as part of a technical/maintenance team.
