Engineering Assistant

Role Summary: Maliban Dairy & Agri Products (Pvt) Ltd, a key player in Sri Lanka's Dairy and Agricultural Sector, is seeking a highly motivated, dynamic, and results-driven individual to join their team during a period of rapid expansion.

Location: Dambulla

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in carrying out preventive maintenance programs for plant, factory, and office-related machinery, equipment, and systems.
• Support fault finding and rectification of engineering / electronic / electrical equipment during planned and unplanned stoppages.
• Assist senior engineers and engineering executives in installation, modification, rehabilitation, and project-related work.
• Ensure all assigned work is carried out in compliance with safety standards, including proper warning signs and safety precautions.
• Maintain good housekeeping, hygiene, and cleanliness in engineering work areas.
• Assist in maintaining proper records of tools, materials, meters, and test equipment.
• Support engineering activities related to process operations during assigned duty periods.
• Assist with work at engineering / electronics laboratories when required.
• Comply with IMS procedures, GMP standards, and company policies at all times.
• Carry out duties as instructed by superiors in line with organizational requirements.

Qualifications

• HND / TTI / NDT or a recognized technical qualification or equivalent in Engineering (Electrical / Electronic / Mechanical or related field).
• Sound technical knowledge in maintenance and engineering support functions.
• Willingness to work on a shift basis and attend duties during breakdowns or emergencies.
• Ability to work effectively as a team player with a positive attitude.
