Job Responsibilities

• Overseeing daily transaction, lending, deposits, and ensuring smooth branch operations, such as managing staff and monitoring tasks.
• Ensuring adherence to banking laws, CBSL guidelines and company policies to prevent non-compliance issues.
• Providing exemplary service to customers and addressing their needs and inquiries.
• Streamlining processes to enhance efficiency and improve overall operations.
• Leading and mentoring teller/cashier, customer relations officer, gold loan officer, back-office officer, and delegating tasks effectively.
• Addressing any issues or complaints from customers staff promptly and effectively.
• Communicating operational updates, financial performance, and other key metrics to senior management.

Requirements/Qualifications

• Professional qualifications in BSL, HNDA, AAT or equivalent qualifications will be an added advantage.
• Minimum of 3-4 years' service in a bank or NBFI sector.
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Possess excellent written & oral communication skills especially in English. Proficiency in Sinhala & Tamil will be an added advantage.
