Assistant Manager | Learning & Development
ABOUT THE ROLE
The Assistant Manager – Learning & Development will drive the organization's learning culture by planning, conducting, and monitoring internal training programs. This role suits a proactive individual who can work independently, partner with business leaders, and is willing to travel as required.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Conduct internal training programs including:
- New employee onboarding and orientation
- Product and process training
- Soft skills training (communication, customer service, teamwork, etc.)
- Design, update, and deliver training content and materials.
- Track, monitor, and evaluate training effectiveness (attendance, feedback, post-training performance).
- Promote and sustain a strong learning culture across the organization.
- Provide back-end support for the Learning Management System (LMS):
- Upload and assign courses
- Track completion and generate reports
- Maintain accurate recording materials
- Coordinate training logistics (scheduling, venues, participant communication, trainer coordination).
- Work independently and manage multiple training projects with minimum supervision.
- Travel to branches/locations to deliver training and support learning initiatives when required.
REQUIREMENTS
- Degree / professional qualification in HR, Training & Development, Business Management, or related field.
- 3+ years' experience in Learning & Development / Training, including facilitation of classroom or virtual sessions.
- Strong presentation, facilitation, and communication skills.
- Experience in onboarding, product training, and soft skills training.
- Familiarity with LMS platforms and basic data/reporting.
- Self-driven, able to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Willingness to travel based on business needs.
