Assistant Manager – Learning and Development

Uga Resorts is seeking an Assistant Manager – Learning and Development to join our People & Culture Team, to lead the Learning & Development function at Uga Ulagalla – Anuradhapura. We are looking for a hands-on L&D professional who is passionate about nurturing talent, driving employee growth, and creating impactful learning experiences.

Requirements/Qualifications
- Proven Track Record: Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in Learning and development or in a similar role, ideally within the luxury hospitality or premium resort sector.
- Learning & Development Excellence: Strong hands-on expertise in facilitating training programs, maintaining accurate learning records, managing training administration, and driving initiatives that support continuous employee growth.
- Collaboration & Accountability: A dependable team player who partners effectively with leaders and colleagues to identify learning needs and foster a culture of continuous learning.
- Professionalism & Coaching Mindset: High integrity, accountability, and adaptability, with the ability to coach, mentor, and guide employees in their development journey.
- Professional Qualifications: Qualification in Hotel/Hospitality Management along with Training & Development from a recognized institute is preferred.
Location
Uga Ulagalla – Anuradhapura (Candidate should be willing to relocate to Anuradhapura as required).
