Junior Merchandiser at LeapStitch Pvt Ltd

Role Summary

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Junior Merchandiser to join our growing team. This role offers the opportunity to manage the entire merchandising process—from product development through to bulk production and final delivery—while working closely with customers, factories, and supplier partners.

Key Responsibilities

Product Development

• Coordinate with customers to develop commercially viable and bulk-feasible products.
• Liaise with sample rooms, printers, embroidery, and other embellishment partners to ensure timely sample development.
• Prepare and maintain Time & Action (T&A) calendars for all development activities.
• Follow up on sample progress, approvals, and ensure deadlines are achieved.
• Coordinate trims, fabrics, artwork, and technical requirements with all stakeholders.

Bulk Production

• Coordinate with customers to ensure timely receipt of bulk fabric, trims, and production approvals.
• Plan and book production capacity with factories, printers, embroidery units, and other embellishment partners.
• Monitor production progress and proactively resolve issues that may impact delivery.
• Work closely with internal and external teams to ensure quality, timelines, and customer requirements are met.
• Track orders from production through shipment and ensure on-time bulk delivery.
• Maintain regular communication with customers by providing accurate production updates.

Requirements

• Diploma in Fashion, Apparel, Textile, Merchandising, or a related field or 1 year experience in apparel merchandising or product development is preferred.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills.
