Assistant Production Manager

(Polonnaruwa Factory)

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage daily production activities to achieve planned targets.
• Ensure production efficiency, quality, and timely delivery.
• Coordinate with relevant departments to ensure smooth production.
• Monitor manpower, productivity, and production performance.
• Identify production issues, take corrective actions, and drive continuous improvement.
• Prepare and review production-related reports and KPIs.

REQUIRMENTS

• Diploma/Degree in Apparel, Textile, Production Management, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years' experience in apparel manufacturing, preferably in a production role.
• Good knowledge of Sewing, Finishing, and overall apparel production processes.
• Strong understanding of production planning, manpower, efficiency, and productivity.
• Good leadership, problem-solving, communication, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. Lean Manufacturing knowledge is an added advantage.
