Role Summary

We are looking for talented, enthusiastic and committed individuals for the post of Assistant Professor. The Department of Electrical & Electronic Engineering has over 30 academic staff, a large cohort of undergraduate students and modern laboratories in major areas of Electrical and Electronic Engineering.

Key Responsibilities

• Contribute to research and teaching in the broad areas of Electrical and Electronic Engineering.
• Engage in administrative duties and professional service.

Requirements/Qualifications

• Hold a four-year bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering or equivalent with 1st or 2nd Class Honours.
• Hold an earned doctoral degree in a related field.
• At least six years of demonstrated competence in research, teaching and/or industry practice after the bachelor's degree.
• A strong publication record in reputed research journals.
• A strong track-record in electrical power engineering is particularly sought, though expertise in other relevant areas is also encouraged.
