You should ideally:
- have 10–12 years of progressive experience in enterprise networking across Data Centre, LAN, and WAN/SD-WAN environments
- possess strong expertise in Data Centre Networking (Spine-Leaf architectures, EVPN/VXLAN), Enterprise LAN, and WAN/SD-WAN technologies (MPLS, Internet, Hybrid WAN)
- Have hands-on experience with Cisco ACI, including policy-driven networking, multi-tenant design, and automation capabilities
- Have solid knowledge of routing and switching protocols such as BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, along with QoS, multicast, and network segmentation
- Hold a Bachelor's degree in IT/engineering (or a related field), with preferred certifications such as CCNP/CCIE (Enterprise or Data Center)
- Have exposure to 24/7 operations, disaster recovery, regulatory compliance in banking environments, and familiarity with network security controls and hybrid/cloud networking (e.g., VMware NSX)
You will be mainly responsible for:
- owning and operating the bank's network backbone, including Data Centre (Cisco ACI), Enterprise LAN, and WAN/SD-WAN connectivity
- designing and optimizing high-performance, low-latency, and resilient network architectures to support critical banking applications
- ensuring end-to-end network availability through redundancy models, failover mechanisms, capacity planning, and predictive monitoring
- leading incident management, conducting root cause analysis, and implementing preventive measures across all network domains
- driving WAN transformation initiatives, including migration from MPLS to hybrid and SD-WAN architectures
- collaborating with cybersecurity teams, managing vendors and ISPs, and leading modernization initiatives including automation, orchestration, and intent-based networking
