Associate Accounts Assistant
Role Summary
The National Chamber of Exporters of Sri Lanka is seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Junior Accounts Executive (Male) to join our Finance Division. The ideal candidate should be highly organized, accurate, and able to handle multiple financial processes while maintaining compliance with accounting standards and statutory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Processing and maintaining records of Invoices, POs, Dispatch Notes, and other documents.
- Follow-up bills and update vendor bills and utility bills in the QB System.
- Collection of all supporting documents necessary for statutory payments prior to the deadlines.
- Maintain and update of cheque payment registers.
- Regular Debt Collections & Follow ups.
- Preparation of Finance and Debt collection reports.
- Fixed Assets & Inventory Handling.
- Accounting Records & Document Maintenance.
Requirements
- Part qualification in AAT/CA/CIMA/ACCA or similar accounting qualification.
- Minimum 1–2 years’ experience in accounting or finance.
- Strong knowledge of bookkeeping, reconciliations, and cash handling.
- Proficiency in accounting systems (QuickBooks experience is an added advantage).
- Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and multi-task under deadlines.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
