Role Summary

Richard Pieris Finance Ltd is looking for an enthusiastic, dynamic, and hardworking male candidate for the position of Junior Executive (Gold Stock Verification) - Risk.

Key Responsibilities

• Continuously assess and update the management team on potential operational risks and implement mitigation strategies.
• Conduct routine audits of gold loans to verify physical gold stock balances against system reports.
• Perform verification of gold loan operations and ensure proper implementation of procedures.
• Review operational risk aspects of branches to ensure compliance with internal controls, policies, and guidelines.
• Follow up on corrective actions and risk mitigation.
• Design and implement procedures and a risk-oriented culture within the organization.
• Play an active role in strategy setting and corporate planning in liaison with stakeholders.
• Visit branches and report internal control violations and deviations from standard procedures.

Requirements/Qualifications

• At least 1-2 years' experience in the Banking/Financial Services Sector in a similar capacity in Risk Management.
• Analytical mind with absolute attention to detail.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• A degree in Banking, Finance, Management, Mathematics, Statistics or a full/partial professional qualification in Banking and Finance (IABF/DABF), CIMA, or FRM.
