Associate - Server Engineer

Role Summary

Port City BPO is looking for a meticulous Associate - Server Engineer to assist in the management and upkeep of server infrastructure. The successful candidate will focus on maintaining system availability, optimizing performance, and resolving technical issues within the server environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the uptime and performance of game servers.
• Identify and resolve server-side technical difficulties.
• Support the scaling and deployment processes for game server environments.
• Collaborate with developers to enhance backend efficiency.
• Maintain high standards for data integrity and server security.

Qualifications and Skills

• A degree or diploma in Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering, or a similar discipline.
• Foundational understanding of networking protocols such as DNS and TCP/IP.
• Practical familiarity with Windows or Linux server operating systems.
• Strong debugging capabilities and analytical problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of server architecture is considered a plus.
