Associate Underwriter

Role Summary

Allianz Insurance Lanka Limited is looking for a motivated Junior Executive - Underwriting for the Commercial Department to support underwriting operations, prepare accurate quotations, and maintain strong broker relationships in line with company guidelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Underwrite insurance proposals according to company guidelines.
• Prepare accurate quotations within agreed service timelines.
• Support the achievement of GWP targets while maintaining loss ratios.
• Maintain strong working relationships with brokers.
• Ensure proper documentation, records, and data privacy compliance.
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth operations.

Requirements/Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in insurance, Business management, or a related field.
• Prior experience in underwriting or insurance operations will be an advantage.
• 1-2 years of experience in the same field.
• Strong knowledge of underwriting guidelines, processes, and procedures.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and work collaboratively.
