Ayurveda Dispenser (Grade III)

Role Summary

Recruitment for three (03) vacancies for the post of Ayurveda Dispenser (Primary Grade - Semi-Skilled Service Category) of Grade III within the Central Provincial Department of Ayurveda.

Responsibilities

• Dispensing indigenous medicines.
• Storing and preserving indigenous medicines.
• Managing the issuing of indigenous medicines.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Educational: Passing six (06) subjects with at least two (02) credit passes at the General Certificate of Education (Ordinary Level) Examination in not more than two sittings; OR having successfully completed a vocational course relevant to National Vocational Qualification (NVQ) Level 3 and obtained the certificate as determined by TVEC.
• Vocational: Having successfully completed a vocational course relevant to the post, at a level not below NVQ Level 2 or Level 3, and obtained the certificate as determined by TVEC.
• Experience: A minimum of two (02) years of experience in the relevant field is required.
• Physical: Must possess adequate physical and mental fitness to serve in any part of the Central Province.
• Other: Must be a citizen of Sri Lanka, of excellent moral character, and have continuous permanent residency in the Central Province for three (03) years immediately preceding the date of recruitment.
• Age: Between 18 and 45 years.
