Role Summary

The Assistant Manager / Manager Sales (B2B) will be responsible for developing, managing, and nurturing strategic partnerships with Destination Management Companies (DMCs), Travel Agents, and tour operators to drive hotel occupancy and revenue. This role involves identifying and cultivating high-value business relationships, negotiating competitive group rates and packages, and implementing effective sales strategies tailored to the B2B travel market.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify, develop, and manage relationships with key Destination Management Companies, Travel Agents, and tour operators.
  • Negotiate and establish competitive group rates, packages, and commission structures.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for key B2B accounts.
  • Develop and implement tailored marketing and promotional strategies for B2B partners.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and partner performance.
  • Maintain detailed records of partnerships, agreements, contract terms, and client preferences.
  • Coordinate with hotel operations to ensure seamless delivery of services.
  • Provide regular reports on B2B sales performance, pipeline, and revenue forecasting.
  • Conduct property familiarisation tours and present hotel facilities to potential partners.
  • Manage multi-tasking and work effectively under pressure to meet business targets.

Requirements / Qualifications

  • 3 - 5 years of experience in B2B sales, account management, or business development, preferably in the hospitality or travel industry.
  • Strong analytical and negotiation skills with the ability to structure and close business deals.
  • Proven track record of building and maintaining strong, long-term business relationships.
  • Mature, professional demeanour with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Comfortable working in cross-functional setups and collaborating with multiple teams locally and globally.
  • Sound knowledge of the travel and tourism market, particularly DMCs and travel agent networks.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
