Bartender

Role Summary

We have an exciting opportunity for a Bartender to join Cinnamon Life at City of Dreams, part of Cinnamon Hotels & Resorts, Sri Lanka’s largest hotel owner with a portfolio of 17 hotels and resorts in Sri Lanka and the Maldives. Cinnamon Life is a member of John Keells Holdings PLC, one of the largest listed conglomerates in Sri Lanka.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages as per standard recipes
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area
• Ensure accurate billing and cash handling procedures
• Monitor stock levels and assist with inventory control
• Engage with guests to provide friendly and professional service
• Follow hygiene, safety, and responsible alcohol service standards
• Coordinate with service staff to ensure smooth bar operations

Requirements/Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Bartender in a hotel, bar, or restaurant
• Knowledge of classic cocktails, spirits, and beverage preparation techniques
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Basic understanding of POS systems and cash handling
• Ability to work flexible shifts, including evenings and weekends
• Well-groomed appearance with a professional attitude
