Body Shop Service Advisor

SERVICE ADVISOR – BODY SHOP (WELLAMPITIYA)

We are seeking a competent and experienced Body Shop Service Advisor to join our team. The ideal candidate should possess strong technical knowledge in accident repair coordination and insurance claim handling, with the ability to manage documentation and follow-ups effectively.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive accident vehicles and open job cards.
• Prepare repair estimates and submit to insurance companies.
• Prepare and submit supplementary estimates when required.
• Coordinate with insurance companies and surveyors.
• Monitor repair progress across all body shop sections.
• Manage salvage parts return as per insurance requirements.
• Prepare final invoices.
• Follow up on payments until full settlement.
• Maintain complete and accurate job documentation.

Requirements

• Diploma/Degree in Automobile/Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 3–5 years' experience in accident repair service advisory.
• Strong knowledge of insurance claim procedures.
• Hands-on experience in estimate and supplementary preparation.
• Good communication and negotiation skills.
• Strong follow-up and documentation ability.
