Service Advisor – Bodyshop

Key Responsibilities

• Act as the primary point of contact between customers and the bodyshop team.
• Receive customers and understand their vehicle repair and maintenance requirements.
• Prepare accurate job cards based on customer complaint and vehicle condition.
• Explain required repairs, maintenance work, estimated costs, and completion timelines to customers.
• Coordinate with technicians and workshop teams to ensure timely completion of jobs.
• Monitor the progress of repair work and keep customers updated.
• Prepare and communicate quotations and obtain necessary customer approvals.
• Conduct vehicle inspections and identify additional repair requirements where applicable.
• Ensure completed vehicles are properly checked before handing them over to customers.
• Handle completed inquiries and complaints professionally and ensure timely resolution.
• Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, jobs status, and service history.
• Promote recommended maintenance, genuine spare parts, and additional after-sales services.
• Coordinate with relevant departments to ensure a smooth overall customer experience.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a service advisor role, preferably in an automotive bodyshop or a related field.
• Good understanding of vehicle repairs, bodyshop processes, and maintenance.
• Strong customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to handle customer requirements and communicate technical information clearly.
• Good coordination, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Computer literacy and ability to maintain service-related records.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced bodyshop environment.
