Reservation Specialist
A Reservation Specialist in the travel and tourism industry is responsible for handling reservations, bookings, and other related tasks to ensure a smooth and organized experience for travellers.
Responsibilities:
- Manage reservations for flights, hotels, rental cars, and other travel-related services.
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting clients with inquiries, changes, and cancellations. Address and resolve any issues or concerns that may arise.
- Communicate effectively with travel agents, and internal teams to ensure accurate and up-to-date information.
- Stay informed about travel destinations, accommodations, and services to provide relevant information to clients.
- Utilize reservation systems, booking platforms, and other relevant software to process reservations efficiently.
- Maintain accurate records of reservations, payments, and client information. Prepare and send confirmation emails and other relevant documentation.
- Handle unexpected situations such as overbooking, cancellations, or changes in travel plans, and find suitable solutions.
- Promote additional services or upgrades to enhance the customer experience and increase revenue.

Qualifications:
- Minimum O/L, A/L pass mark.
- Minimum required 2 to 3 years experience in field.
- Good English knowledge.
- Experience in MS Office / Power BI.
- A high school diploma or equivalent is typically required, and additional education or training in tourism or hospitality can be beneficial. Previous experience in customer service or a related field is often preferred.
