The Sri Lanka Institute of Marketing (SLIM), established in 1970 and incorporated by an act of Parliament in 1980, is the apex body for Sri Lankan marketers. As a not-for-profit national body, SLIM is committed to elevating the marketing profession through education, advocacy, and iconic national events such as Brand Excellence, People's Awards, NSA, Effie Awards, and more.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and execute advertising, promotional and brand campaigns for SLIM.
• Manage assigned educational products and ensure timely campaign execution.
• Develop brand strategies and campaigns to strengthen SLIM's market presence.
• Coordinate with design teams, agencies, vendors and internal stakeholders.
• Manage digital and traditional marketing initiatives, exhibitions, events, sponsorships and partnerships.
• Organize product launches and promotional events, both online and onsite.
• Coordinate the development of brochures, leaflets, banners and other promotional materials.
• Support new product development and launch activities.
• Analyze market trends, customer insights and campaign performance.
• Handle relevant marketing payments and administrative activities.

Candidate Profile

• Degree or professional qualification in Marketing, Business Management or a related field.
• 2-3 years of relevant experience in brand management, advertising or marketing.
• Strong communication, coordination and interpersonal skills.
• Creative mindset with strong attention to detail.
• Good knowledge of digital marketing and social media platforms.
• Strong event and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines.
