Business Development Executive

Key Responsibilities

• Generate and develop new business opportunities for residential construction, renovation and related building services.
• Follow up on incoming enquiries, leads and quotations and convert opportunities into confirmed projects.
• Conduct client meetings, site visits, presentations and requirement discussions.
• Build and maintain relationships with homeowners, architects, consultants, interior designers, property agents, contractors and other industry stakeholders.
• Identify upcoming residential projects, renovation opportunities and referral partnerships.
• Coordinate with engineers and QS team to prepare proposals, quotations and project information.
• Maintain CRM records, sales pipeline, follow-up schedules and weekly/monthly sales reports.
• Support achievement of monthly and annual sales targets.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 – 3 years of experience in Business Development, Sales or Marketing; construction, building materials, real estate or engineering-related experience is an advantage.
• Diploma/Degree in Business Management, Marketing, Sales, Engineering or a related field is preferred.
• Strong communication, negotiation, presentation and relationship-building skills.
• Target-driven, proactive and self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
• Good knowledge of MS Office; CRM experience is an advantage.
• Willingness to conduct frequent client meetings and construction site visits.
• Valid driving licence is an advantage.
• Good command of Sinhala and English; Tamil is an advantage.

• Candidates willing to travel within the Colombo and surrounding areas are preferred.
