Manager - Business Development (Exports)

Role Summary

Lanka Walltiles PLC is seeking a dynamic, results-driven, and experienced professional to join our team to drive international market expansion and support our growing sales operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute business development strategies to drive international market expansion.
• Identify new business opportunities through market research and competitor analysis.
• Drive export sales growth while ensuring compliance with international trade requirements.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with global clients, distributors, and partners.
• Lead negotiations, proposals, and closing of international business deals.
• Represent the company at trade fairs, exhibitions, and client engagements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Sales, Production, Finance, R&D, Design).
• Monitor performance metrics including revenue growth, market penetration, and ROI.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred).
• Proven experience in business development / export sales (manufacturing sector preferred).
• Strong knowledge of international markets and trade practices.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Results-oriented with a strong drive to achieve targets.
• Proficiency in MS Office and CRM systems.
• Willingness to travel internationally.
• Knowledge of foreign languages will be an added advantage.
