Cashier Accounts

Role Summary: As part of our expansion, we have established a new furniture factory in Bandaragama. We are seeking a trustworthy and detail-oriented Accounts Cashier to manage daily cash transactions and provide accounting support for our factory operations at Bandaragama.

Key Responsibilities:

• Receive and process cash, cheque, and electronic payments.
• Prepare daily cash summaries and reconcile cash balances.
• Maintain accurate financial records and documentation.
• Assist with accounts receivable and payable activities.
• Prepare bank deposits and support bank reconciliations.
• Issue receipts, process petty cash transactions, and maintain cash records.
• Assist with monthly financial reports and audits.
• Ensure compliance with company financial policies and procedures.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Diploma or Certificate in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum 2-3 years of experience in cashiering or accounting.
• Good knowledge of accounting principles and cash handling procedures.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software.
• Strong numerical accuracy, integrity, and attention to detail.
• Good communication and organizational skills.
