CHIEF ACCOUNTANT
Aliya Resort & Spa
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all accounting operations, ensuring accuracy, efficiency and compliance with company procedures.
- Prepare timely monthly accounts, management reports, budgets and financial analysis as required.
- Manage cash flow, receivables, payables and treasury operations to optimize working capital.
- Maintain strong financial controls and ensure proper management of assets, stock and insurance.
- Ensure timely payment of taxes, levies and all statutory obligations and regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate the annual budget process and external audits, ensuring timely and accurate completion.
Job Requirements:
- 3-5 years' experience in a similar capacity, preferably within the hospitality industry.
- Full or part professional qualification in Finance/Accounting such as AAT, CIMA or CA.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Ability to multitask, work independently and meet deadlines with minimal supervision.
- Willingness to travel to different properties across the country when required.
- Good knowledge of accounting systems and MS Office 365, particularly Excel.
