Role Summary
LAUGFS Engineering is a highly reputed mechanical engineering and civil construction company specializing in construction, installation of fuel, LPG, and fire systems, storage tanks, steel structures, and prefabricated buildings.
Key Responsibilities
- Review project progress and support monitoring to ensure timely delivery.
- Manage contract administration and liaise with clients, consultants, and engineers.
- Prepare and submit payment applications and follow up certifications.
- Conduct cost analysis for production and negotiate subcontract prices.
- Prepare quotations, participate in pre-bid meetings, and support competitive bidding.
- Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers for materials, machinery, and subcontractors.
- Manage QS Department deliverables including monthly work-done reports.
- Ensure compliance with company procurement policies, warranties, and guarantees.
Requirements/Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying / Civil / Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
- 3–4 years of professional experience in quantity surveying.
- Strong knowledge of cost estimation, contract law, and construction processes.
- Proven negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in SAP and project-related software will be an added advantage.
