Quantity Surveyor (Civil | Mechanical)

Role Summary

LAUGFS Engineering is a highly reputed mechanical engineering and civil construction company specializing in construction, installation of fuel, LPG, and fire systems, storage tanks, steel structures, and prefabricated buildings.

Key Responsibilities

• Review project progress and support monitoring to ensure timely delivery.
• Manage contract administration and liaise with clients, consultants, and engineers.
• Prepare and submit payment applications and follow up certifications.
• Conduct cost analysis for production and negotiate subcontract prices.
• Prepare quotations, participate in pre-bid meetings, and support competitive bidding.
• Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers for materials, machinery, and subcontractors.
• Manage QS Department deliverables including monthly work-done reports.
• Ensure compliance with company procurement policies, warranties, and guarantees.

Requirements/Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying / Civil / Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
• 3–4 years of professional experience in quantity surveying.
• Strong knowledge of cost estimation, contract law, and construction processes.
• Proven negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in SAP and project-related software will be an added advantage.
