Manager - Claims

Role Summary

Delmege Insurance Brokers (Pvt) Ltd is seeking an experienced and results-oriented Manager – Claims to lead our Claims Department. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving operational excellence, ensuring efficient claims management, and delivering exceptional customer service while leading a high-performing team.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the end-to-end claims handling process, ensuring timely, accurate, and compliant claim settlements.
• Lead negotiations with insurance companies to secure the best possible claim outcomes for clients.
• Monitor and improve claims processing workflows to enhance efficiency and service quality.
• Ensure accurate maintenance of claims records and related documentation in accordance with company standards.
• Prepare and analyze claims statistics and management reports to support business decisions.
• Conduct periodic reviews of claims to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance.
• Develop and implement initiatives to continuously improve claims management processes and customer experience.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, insurers, and other stakeholders.
• Lead, mentor, and manage the Claims team to achieve departmental objectives and service excellence.
• Perform any other duties assigned by the management in line with business requirements.

Qualifications & Experiences

• Bachelor's Degree in Insurance, Risk Management, Business Management, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 7 years' experience in insurance claims or a related field, including at least 3 years in a managerial or similar leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of insurance claims procedures, industry regulations, and best practices.
• Proven experience in team leadership and performance management.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and insurance claims management systems is an added advantage.
