Executive - Claims

We’re looking for a motivated Executive – Claims to join our team and support our commitment to delivering exceptional service in P&I case management.

Key Responsibilities

• Independently handle P&I cases by following established processes and guidelines.
• Thoroughly review and understand reports from external surveyors and present clear, actionable feedback to clients.
• Offer well-considered recommendations to vessel owners to address and resolve issues, aiming to enhance customer satisfaction and retention.
• Follow all IG club guidelines for issue resolution and P&I case management.
• Coordinate with relevant parties to ensure the highest level of service.
• Work towards establishing and maintaining a strong reputation in handling P&I cases by delivering exemplary service and striving for excellence in all aspects of the role.
• Develop and nurture relationships with both international and local stakeholders.
• Manage a wide range of claims and incidents as needed.
• Perform additional tasks as required by management in line with the role.

Skills and Experience Required

• Successful completion of the Institute of Chartered Ship Brokers (ICS) or completed Basic Ship Agency functions course is an added advantage.
• 1-2 year of experience in similar role in the shipping industry is ideal & having shipping agency operations related knowledge & experience is a definite advantage.
• Strong analytical skills with meticulous attention to detail.
• Ability to interpret complex reports & provide actionable feedback.
• Strong intention to learn, grow & innovate.
• Systematic, rigorous, determined, and highly perceptive.
• Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
