Cloud Engineer (DevOps Focused)

Role Summary

Kanj Technologies, a UK-based Managed Service Provider, is seeking a skilled Cloud Engineer to join their international engineering team. This is a permanent, fully remote position based in Sri Lanka, requiring alignment with UK business hours (typically 13:00 to 22:30 SLST).

Responsibilities

• Architect, implement, and maintain secure Azure-based infrastructures for a diverse client base.
• Automate deployment processes using DevOps methodologies.
• Manage comprehensive documentation and adhere to strict change control protocols.
• Take end-to-end ownership of technical deliveries and communicate progress directly to senior leadership.

Requirements

• At least 4 years of professional experience in cloud engineering roles.
• Deep technical knowledge of core infrastructure, including storage, servers, and networking.
• Practical, hands-on expertise with Azure services, specifically regarding identity, governance, compute, and networking.
• Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code and CI/CD pipelines; familiarity with Bicep is highly preferred.
• A security-first mindset with the ability to harden environments independently.
• Strong ability to create network and architecture diagrams.
• Excellent English communication skills and experience collaborating with distributed global teams.
