Role Summary

We are expanding our team to meet the growing volume of maritime inquiries and are looking for a proactive and commercially driven individual to join our Commercial & Marketing team. This role offers a unique opportunity to work closely with international maritime clients, handling end-to-end commercial coordination for vessels calling at Sri Lankan ports.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily inquiries from ship owners, charterers, ship managers, and agents.
• Prepare and submit competitive quotations in coordination with internal teams.
• Follow up and convert inquiries into confirmed business opportunities.
• Coordinate closely with procurement, operations, and logistics teams.
• Maintain strong client relationships to ensure repeat business and service excellence.
• Support overall commercial and marketing functions, ensuring smooth operations and continuity.

Requirements/Qualifications

• 3-5 years experience in commercial, sales, or marketing roles (shipping / logistics / marine preferred).
• Strong communication and relationship management skills.
• Ability to handle multiple inquiries in a fast-paced environment.
• Good commercial awareness and negotiation skills.
• Basic understanding of marine / shipping / port operations is an advantage.
• High level of responsibility, responsiveness, and attention to detail.
• Willingness to work flexible hours based on vessel schedules.
