Role Summary

McLarens Lubricants Ltd is looking to recruit a responsible, reliable, and secure Heavy Vehicle Driver.

Key Responsibilities

• Transport goods safely and on time according to management instructions.
• Accurately record vehicle mileage and ensure timely vehicle maintenance.
• Maintain professional and friendly conduct with customers.
• Follow organized travel routes.
• Ensure the vehicle is always maintained with adequate fuel and tire pressure.

Requirements/Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience with a valid heavy vehicle driving license.
• Good knowledge of local and long-distance routes, ability to plan routes, and defensive driving skills.
• Knowledge of vehicle maintenance (periodic service, minor repairs).
• Good physical fitness and ability to handle heavy goods.
• Ability to read and write in Sinhala and English at a moderate level.
• Good communication skills.
• Basic mathematical knowledge, ability to calculate accurately, and willingness to work in remote areas and extended hours when necessary.
