Executive -Communications (FMCG)-Colombo

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and coordinate communication for social, environmental, and sustainability campaigns.
• Prepare content for press releases, articles, newsletters, social media, websites, presentations, and internal announcements.
• Support internal PR, external PR, corporate communication, and staff communication initiatives.
• Coordinate with media, PR agencies, photographers, videographers, internal teams, and external stakeholders.
• Capture and communicate impact stories from community, environmental, and CSR-related projects.
• Ensure all communication is aligned with the brand tone, values, and corporate purpose.
• Support event communication, campaign publicity, media coverage, and post-event reporting.

Requirements

• Degree or professional qualification in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, English, or a related field.
• Minimum 2+ years’ experience in communications, PR, corporate communication, media, or content development.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
• Strong content writing, editing, coordination, and storytelling skills.
• Experience in CSR, sustainability, NGO, environmental, or corporate communication will be an added advantage.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, work with different stakeholders, and meet deadlines.
