Manager - Compensation & Benefits

Company: HealthRecon Connect

Location: Colombo, Sri Lanka (Hybrid - Minimum 3 days/week in office)

Schedule: 8 AM - 5 PM IST

Department: Human Resources

Employment Type: Full-time

Role Summary

HealthRecon Connect is a technology-enabled Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) partner to US healthcare providers, with delivery operations spanning Sri Lanka, India, and the Philippines. We are looking for a Manager - Compensation & Benefits to take ownership of our total rewards agenda - turning market intelligence into pay structures that are competitive, cost-smart, and built around performance.

What You Will Own

  • Market & Benchmarking - Run market-level CTC analysis across our Sri Lanka, India, and Philippines operations, benchmark roles against industry standards (RCM / BPO / KPO / healthcare), and keep our pay competitive through recognised salary surveys and periodic benchmarking.
  • Pay Design & Cost-Neutralisation - Build cost-neutral pay models that optimise the fixed-to-variable mix and CTC structure, improving employee take-home and tax efficiency without growing the cost base. Partner with Finance on budgeting and scenario modelling.
  • Performance-Driven Rewards - Design and run variable pay and incentive schemes linked to our KPI/SLA scorecard, reinforcing a genuine pay-for-performance culture amongst employees, bonuses and incentives.
  • Payroll & Pay Cycle Operations - Own end-to-end payroll with 100% accuracy; full and final settlements, terminal payments and statutory compliance across all pay cycles.
  • HR Shared Services - Lead a responsive shared-services function that resolves employee queries on leave, attendance, pay, benefits and letter requests within agreed service levels.

What You Will Bring

  • 6 - 8 years in Compensation & Benefits / HR Operations, with a strong grounding in payroll and rewards - and at least 4 years leading people.
  • Solid command of compensation analytics, salary benchmarking and total-rewards design.
  • Financial-modelling and advanced spreadsheet skills, with the ability to turn data into commercial decisions.
  • Sound knowledge of Sri Lankan payroll and statutory frameworks (EPF, ETF, APT); multi-geography exposure is a strong plus.
  • Confident business partner who can influence HR, Finance and business leaders.
  • A degree in HRM / Finance / Business and a professional HR or rewards/payroll qualification (GRP, CCP or equivalent) preferred.
