What You'll Do
- Monitor, manage, and ensure company-wide adherence to statutory regulations and operational compliance standards.
- Coordinate corporate legal affairs with external legal counsel, statutory bodies, and relevant authorities.
- Draft, review, and update internal policies, contracts, standard operating procedures, and governance frameworks.
- Prepare formal notices, official letters, legal documentation, and compliance reporting for senior management.
- Support internal compliance reviews, audits, and the implementation of corrective actions.
- Assist in managing employee relations matters, statutory labour inquiries, and disciplinary frameworks with regulations.
- Liaise with government institutions, regulatory authorities, and external stakeholders when required.
- Maintain strict confidentiality regarding all proprietary legal, regulatory, and corporate data.

What You Need
- Degree or Diploma in Law, Legal Studies, Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 2-3 years of relevant experience in legal affairs, corporate compliance, or regulatory operations (experience in manufacturing or FMCG is an added advantage).
- Sound working knowledge of statutory corporate regulations, Government circulars, and industrial standards.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Sinhala (Tamil is an added advantage).
- Proficient working knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite.
