Assistant Manager - Compliance

Role Summary

Key Responsibilities

• Support and coordinate compliance activities in the cluster/s, ensuring day-to-day adherence to statutory, regulatory, and internal requirements.
• Work with cluster-level compliance contacts across other businesses to align and follow up on compliance matters.
• Implementing and maintaining compliance frameworks, policies, and procedures across the Group.
• Carry out compliance checks, risk assessments, and follow up on corrective actions where required.
• Prepare regular compliance updates and reports, providing assurance and confirmation to the Board and Senior Management on the status of compliance across the Group.
• Help create awareness and provide basic training to staff to promote a compliance-focused culture.
• Support continuous improvements in compliance practices across clusters and at Group level.

Requirements

• Degree or professional qualification in Finance, Business Administration, Manufacturing or related from a recognized University/Institute.
• Additional qualifications in Compliance/Governance will be an added advantage.
• 5-7 years experience in compliance, risk management or internal audit; exposure to the automotive sector will be an added advantage.
• General understanding of regulatory frameworks and governance practices.
• Good communication and coordination skills to work with both cluster teams and management.
• Detail-oriented, responsible and proactive with a strong sense of integrity.
