Role Summary

The Faculty of Computing at SLIIT is seeking an Instructor (Temporary) to join the Department of Computer Science. The role involves supporting academic staff and students through laboratory sessions, tutorials, and administrative assistance.

Requirements

• A four-year Bachelor’s honors degree with a 1st or 2nd class upper honors.
• Specialization in Computer Science or a related field.
• Sound knowledge in Artificial Intelligence.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct laboratory practical sessions and guide students during experiments.
• Support lecturers during tutorial sessions and assist students with course material.
• Assist course coordinators with course administration, teaching materials, and student communications.
• Invigilate examinations and ensure adherence to examination rules.
• Assist with scheduling, classroom arrangements, and administrative support for visiting lecturers.
